I believe that the direction we are heading towards is neither a search engine nor an answer engine, but rather towards discovery, the direction of knowledge discovery. This is a greater mission that can be fulfilled through various forms such as chatbots, answer bots, voice interfaces, and more. However, what's more important than these is guiding people to discover things. I think this is what we want to do at Perplexity, to satisfy the fundamental human curiosity.
