According to the annual report, as of the end of last year, Alphabet (Google's parent company) had approximately 182,000 employees. The company has also faced challenges in getting employees to return to the office, such as some employees saying their commute is too long or they have elderly parents or children to care for at home. In some cases, employees have objected to mandatory requirements to return to the office.
